POS Network & Software Support

A frozen terminal or dropped connection at checkout means lost revenue. We provide rapid on-site troubleshooting for retail and hospitality POS networks across Adelaide. We diagnose and resolve software crashes, payment terminal connectivity drops, local server sync issues, and printer network disconnects to get your transactions flowing again. To ensure rapid mobile turnaround times, we focus entirely on software, networking, operational configuration, and connectivity — we do not provide physical component modifications or hardware component repairs (such as replacing physically broken terminal touchscreens).

  • Payment gateway / EFTPOS connectivity drop fixes

/ Frequently asked — POS Network & Software Support

My POS terminal is frozen — can you fix it today?

Yes, where it's a software, network or configuration issue. We attend on-site rapidly for frozen POS terminals, dropped EFTPOS gateway connections, receipt-printer disconnects and local POS server sync errors. We do not repair physically broken POS hardware (smashed touchscreens, dead terminal bodies) — those go back to the manufacturer — but the software/network side of POS we resolve same-day.

Which POS systems do you support?

We work with the connectivity and software side of most retail and hospitality POS platforms operating in Adelaide — Square, Lightspeed, Vend/Lightspeed Retail, Kounta, Impos, Idealpos, plus EFTPOS terminals from Tyro, Smartpay, Westpac and CBA. We don't replace internal POS hardware components — we keep the network, configuration and software stable so the terminals stay online.

Do you support our checkout-lane Wi-Fi reliability?

Yes — this is one of the most common POS-related calls we attend. We rebuild checkout-lane Wi-Fi with proper enterprise-grade access points (typically Ubiquiti UniFi), separate the POS traffic from staff and guest Wi-Fi via VLANs, and configure QoS so payment terminals always get priority. Result: terminals stop dropping mid-transaction.

Can you set up our POS to talk to our accounting software?

Yes — Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks integrations with POS systems are part of our scope. We configure the sync, validate the chart-of-accounts mapping, and test end-to-end with a few real transactions so you're not surprised at month-end.
