Ad Hoc · Managed · Co-Managed — compare your options.
Occasional help when you need it, a fully managed IT partnership, or specialist support alongside your existing IT team — see which engagement model fits your business.
Six pillars. One local partner.
Instead of stitching together three vendors (an MSP, a phone-systems company, and a cabling crew), small Adelaide businesses use Tech Emergency for the whole stack — on one fixed quote, with one number to call.
Managed IT Services
Endpoint management across every staff laptop and desktop, continuous patching, monitoring, backup management and unlimited phone triage — one local team accountable for the whole stack.
Cyber Security & Huntress EDR
Huntress Managed EDR — 24/7 endpoint detection backed by human threat hunters — plus MFA rollout, cybersecurity hardening, application control, immutable backups and incident response.
Check Point Firewalls
Check Point next-generation firewall deployment and ongoing management — threat prevention, IPS, content filtering, Secure Remote Access VPN and Site-to-Site VPN for multi-location businesses.
Microsoft 365 & Entra ID
M365 deployment and management, Microsoft Entra ID conditional access, email security and spam protection (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), MFA across every account. Done right so your business doesn't get spoofed.
UniFi Networking & Business Wi-Fi
Ubiquiti UniFi gateways, PoE switches and access points tuned to your floor plan. VLAN segmentation for POS, staff and guest traffic. Business Wi-Fi that stays fast under load — managed locally.
Business VoIP & Hosted PBX
In collaboration with TEL5 — hosted VoIP and cloud PBX with call routing, auto attendants, hunt groups, number porting and multi-site support. On-site engineering, QoS configuration and ongoing local support.
Data Cabling & Network Fit-outs
Cat6 and Cat6A structured cabling — patch panels, wall plates, comms-cupboard fit-outs. Every drop tester-certified. Suitable for new office fit-outs, expansions, or replacing the chaos cabling left by the previous IT.
Business POS Systems
Complete POS solutions in collaboration with Ninja IT — installation and deployment, hardware setup, terminal replacement and upgrades, receipt printers, barcode scanners, EFTPOS connectivity and rapid on-site troubleshooting when checkout goes down.
Four steps. No mystery line items.
Free on-site audit
We visit your premises, walk the network, talk to your staff, audit what's working and what isn't. 60–90 minutes. No charge, no obligation.
Plain-English report
You get a prioritised report — what to fix first, what can wait, what's already fine. Every item gets a fixed, upfront quote. No mystery line items.
Roll-out (one fix at a time)
We work through the list in order, mostly on-site, with minimal disruption to trading hours. Sign off after each phase before moving on.
Ongoing or hand-over
Choose: optional managed retainer (we keep watch, patch, respond), OR full documented hand-over to your in-house team. Either way, we're on call when you need us.
We're not for everyone.
Here's the honest list.
We're a great fit if you are…
- 1–50 staff, primarily Adelaide-based
- Single premises or 2–3 connected sites
- Tired of either 'the cheap guy' or the big-firm retainer
- Want predictable monthly costs, not hourly billing surprises
- Take customer data, payments, or have remote workers
We're not the right fit if…
- —Enterprise (500+ staff) — too big for us, we'd let you down
- —Multi-state corporate networks — we don't fly interstate
- —Government / defence / PSP-compliant — talk to a specialist auditor first
- —Mac-only creative agency needing Final Cut workstation tuning — not our forte
- —Smashed phone & tablet screen repair — try a phone-repair shop
Work we've actually done.
Essential Eight rollout for a Norwood medical practice
A 12-staff allied-health practice on The Parade went from zero MFA coverage and patient files on a single un-backed-up server to a fully Essential-Eight-compliant baseline — in three Saturday visits, no weekday downtime.
Three Glenelg café sites moved from ISDN to 3CX in one weekend
A small hospitality group with three cafés across the Glenelg / Brighton beachfront strip cut over from ageing Telstra ISDN lines to a hosted 3CX phone system — Friday night to Sunday morning — with full number porting and zero missed Saturday breakfast bookings.
The questions decision-makers actually ask us.
Do we need to sign a long-term contract?
Every job is quoted upfront and you pay for what you receive. Ongoing managed IT (monitoring, patching, response) is available under a straightforward agreement with pricing quoted transparently before you commit — we'll walk you through exactly what's included and what it costs.
Can you replace our current MSP?
Often yes — we've taken over from previous IT providers many times. We start with a 60-minute on-site audit (free) to see what's actually deployed, then deliver a structured migration plan. We work alongside the outgoing provider where possible to make sure nothing breaks during cutover.
What happens if we have a business-down emergency?
Genuine business-down emergencies (ransomware, breach, total network outage) jump the queue — we prioritise phone triage during business hours and dispatch on-site support as quickly as availability allows. After-hours emergencies are triaged by phone and dispatched where required.
How does pricing work?
Everything is fixed-quote, upfront. We don't bill in mystery time blocks. Project work (firewall install, VoIP cutover, cabling fit-out) is quoted as a single fixed price after the on-site audit. Optional managed retainers are a fixed monthly fee — you know exactly what you're paying each month. No fix · no fee on remedial repairs.
Are you insured?
Yes — Tech Emergency carries public liability insurance and all technicians are police-checked. Certificate of currency available on request before we attend your premises.
What about after-hours emergencies?
For genuine emergencies (active ransomware, breach in progress, total network outage) we triage 24/7 by phone on 1800 836 390. Standard scheduled work runs Mon–Sat 9am–7pm. Critical-issue out-of-hours response is priced upfront when the call is taken.
One conversation.
One honest plan.
60 minutes on-site. No charge. No obligation. You'll know more about your business network at the end of that audit than you knew this morning.
