/ Frequently asked — Smart TV & Home Entertainment Support

Which Smart TV brands do you set up?

All of them — Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, TCL, Panasonic, Philips, plus Apple TV, Google TV (Chromecast) and Amazon Fire TV add-ons. We unbox, wall-mount where applicable (or you've got an existing mount), tune the picture, get it on Wi-Fi, and log you into every streaming app you actually use.

Can you fix buffering on Netflix or Stan?

Usually yes — most 'Netflix keeps buffering' problems are Wi-Fi reaching the TV, not the streaming service. We test the Wi-Fi speed at the TV, optimise the router placement or add a mesh node, switch the TV to a wired Ethernet drop if buffering is severe, and configure the TV's own picture-mode settings for streaming. Buffering usually disappears.

Do you set up soundbars and surround systems?

Yes — Sonos, Sony, Samsung Q-series, LG, Bose, JBL. We pair the soundbar to the TV via HDMI ARC/eARC, configure the audio mode (so dialogue doesn't get drowned out), pair rear speakers if you have a 5.1 or Atmos kit, and integrate the whole thing with one remote.

Can you set up a universal remote so my parents only need one?

Yes — this is one of the most-requested senior-friendly jobs we do. One Logitech Harmony (where stock allows) or a similar universal remote, programmed to control the TV, soundbar, set-top box and streaming stick from a single button-press. Big readable buttons, written-down instructions next to the TV.
